CURRIE Captain John It is with a heavy heart that we advise of the passing of our neighbour and friend, Captain John Gardiner Currie, husband of the late Mrs Patricia Currie. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Shennan and attending nursing team at Victoria Hospital (Rothesay) as well as the community services. We would also like to pay tribute to the Captains care team, who supported him with his final wish, to see out his final days at home. We are sure that the Captain and his wife are now cruising to their next destination. Bon Voyage. Funeral Service will be held in The United Church of Bute on Thursday 4th February 2016 at 1pm. Interment thereafter at Kingarth cemetery. All are welcome after the interment to Kingarth Hotel.
