I was very saddened to learn of David's death, after his funeral, regrettably. I had the privilege of knowing David for thirty years or so, as a fellow surveyor, and held him in the highest possible regard. David was always a true professional, and, in my opinion, and many others, the best Commercial Property Valuer in Scotland. David advised many Financial Institutions, Banks and Developers for many years, and always gave sound advice over and beyond the call of duty, seeing options and possibilities that others could not, thanks to his mental agility. David was also one of the most likeable and affable people that I have ever met, whether it be at Vroni's, on a Golf Course, a Salmon River or a Surveyors' event, bringing his mischievous sense of humour with him at all times. David is a very sad loss to us all, and I extend my warmest wishes and empathy to all his friends and family. I shall miss you David, Rest in Peace, until we meet again.
