Gillian, I'm so sorry to hear about Archie's passing and so sorry I couldn't pay my respects in person today, especially since you both came to my mum's funeral a few years ago now... I always regretted not seeing you and Archie after that.... but will always really appreciate what you both did that day.
He was a great big guy who I always remember fondly - even our arguments. I owe a great deal to Archie and was, and still am, proud to have been one of his 'boys'. Take care - love Scott xx

Really sorry to hear of the passing of Big Archie as we affectionately knew him. Very sad news. I worked with Archie in James Scott in the late 80s. He was a gentleman and kept us young bucks on the straight and narrow. I learned a lot from the big man. He had a great sense of humour and I remember my time fondly under his stewardship. Condolences also to Gillian and thanks for all the Marks and Spencer's chocolate mousses you bought me, which Archie used to roll his eyes, shake his head and say 'She doesn't even buy me one of those!' God rest your soul Archie!

Dear Gillian, I have only recently heard about the sad news. I have so many fond memories of Archie during our time at James scott , he was such a gentleman and always looked after myself as I started out my career. Take care and god bless. Ross McEachern
