WHITBY Michael passed away on Sunday 27th August at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary after a short illness with all his family around him. He has left a family bereft of his love, guidance, companionship and his gentle acceptance of everyone he met. Michael will be greatly missed by his wife Linda, four sons, seven grandchildren, the extended family and friends far and wide. His funeral will take place at St Andrews Scottish Episcopal Church, Ardrossan on Thursday 7th September at 2.00pm, followed by cremation at Holmsford Bridge Crematorium, Dreghorn at 3.00pm and thereafter a reception at The Irvine Golf Club, Bogside. It was Michael's wish that we wear bright colours to celebrate his life.
