DAVIES Kit (Christian Maitland Davies) Peacefully, after a short illness, at Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Greenock on Friday 6th October 2017. Kit, (former teacher at Westbourne School for Girls in Glasgow and late of Castle Bay Court, Largs and Thorndale, Shore Road, Skelmorlie), Loving wife of the late Martyn, dear Mother of Gordon and the late Linda, Mother-in-law of Yvonne, Grandmother of Nicola, Colin and Jamie, much loved Aunt of the family and good friend and neighbour of many. Sadly missed by all. Friends are invited to wear an item of bright clothing in memory of Kit. Please contact Wm. Tyre & Son on 01475 673133 for full details of the funeral arrangements. Sign in to add a tributeI'm very sorry to hear of the death of your mother. She was a good friend to bot my parents (Barrie and Arnold Mitchell). I live in Suffolk and used to come up to Largs once a month. Every Saturday I'd take my mother shopping in Morrisons, followed by lunch with Jean and your mother.
She was an amazing lady to keep going till well into her 90s despite her problems with her eyesight.
