KERR Passed peacefully in Crosshouse Hospital on Saturday 4th January 2020, John (Ian), beloved husband of Margaret, loving dad to Audrey and Craig, devoted grampa to Sean, Scott, Heather and Amy and father-in-law to Alan. The family will be having a private service.

So sorry to hear Ian's passing. A great man and character to work with. I first met him around 1993 when we needed a sophisticated monitoring system to establish the source of the problems then apparent on Kingston Bridge. On that we worked for maybe 6 or 8 yrers and often chatted about his steam traction engine he was build g for his Grandson. Later we met in Strathaven where Ian was happily sitty aside his own live steam engine and ran it round the tra k with 8 year old son on board. Never to be forgotten . That and his many Intersting tales. Ian retired and our lives went separate ways but I often thought would he still have that engine. My thoughts and sincere condolences to all.
