WILSON - Margaret (Greta), nee Fotheringham Died peacefully on 18th March 2022 at Anam Cara Respite Service, Kilbirnie, aged 91. Dearly loved mum of Elizabeth and John, beloved Grandmother to the late Genna, Lisa, and Amanda, and all of her adoring Great Grandchildren. The family are grateful for the wonderful care of the staff at Anam Cara during Greta's final months. Greta was a well known figure in Ayrshire, and from her regular trips on the Waverley, where she met many good friends. She was a great conversationalist, and much loved by friends and family for her kindness and generosity. She will be sorely missed by all. Greta's strong wish to help others by donating her body to medical research at the University of Glasgow has been granted, and a Memorial and celebration of Greta's life will be held at the Seamill Hydro on 16th May, at 1.30pm. Family flowers only please, but donations to Myasthenia Gravis Scotland or the Waverley paddle steamer will be gratefully welcomed.
