LAING - William Peacefully at home on Sunday 18th February 2024, Bill, aged 94, devoted husband of the late Nan, beloved father of Fiona and Shelagh, much loved father in law of AJ, loving papa to Alasdair and Rhona. Heartfelt thanks to all family, friends and neighbours for their friendship and support for Bill over many years. With gratitude to the staff of Pro Care Ayrshire who cared for Bill with kindness and respect in his later years. Funeral Service will take place at Fairlie Parish Church on Tuesday 5th March, at 1.15pm, followed by Committal at Clyde Coast and Garnock Valley Crematorium, Largs. Family flowers only please. Donations may be made to the RNLI, who for years kept Bill safe, sailing on the Clyde.
