The 'News' can confirm that the Victoria Hotel on Largs seafront has been sold.

A local business source informed the 'News' that the premises had been purchased.

And when contacted, estate agents Graham and Sibbald, confirmed that the sale had taken place, but were unable to comment further.

The former bar and restaurant needs extensive work before re-opening but is a prime site on the seafront, and the local public will hope it brings the immediate area to life with the vacant Viking Amusements next door.
