Fundraisers gave it some welly for the RNLI on Largs prom last Monday to raise funds for the lifeboat.
Sponsored walkers, raising money for the organisation’s May Day Appeal, were started off by Largs News editor David Carnduff.
People of all ages — from babies in prams to grandparents — took part in the fun event. They included three-year-old Rebecca Anderson from Sinclair Drive in Largs who had raised £70 by the start of the walk, and Abigail Clegg, 6, from Blackpool — who was in Largs for a family visit — who had raised nearly £100. You can donate to Abigail’s fund-raising by going to “Abigial’s Sponsored Largs Lifeboat Wellie Walk” page at Just Giving. More pictures from this event next week.
