It is an end of era as the longest running nightclub venue in Largs has been put on the property market.
A night up at the 'Fidds' for a generation of young revellers is a traditional as ice cream on Largs seafront, but the 'For Sale' sign is now up on the Townhead Close venue, at a cost of £299,999.
The 'Fiddlers' and 'Oceans' night spot has a licence for 380 customers, and has been run by the current proprietor Quilly Clark for 25 years.
Extensive refurbishments have taken place to the entire property over the years, and it has been reluctantly placed the business on market by the owner due to retirement.
The Fiddlers is open two nights a week although it holds a licence for additional nights, and could open more often if new owners decide to do so.
The ground floor 'Oceans' area is currently used for private functions and has a capacity for 210 and has its own half-moon shaped bar, dance floor, DJ booth along with finished seating areas and lighting. The upper 'Fiddlers' floor of the property is the main trading area and has a capacity for 170.
The venue has hosted many functions over its quarter century of operation including birthday parties, 'The Full Monty' charity fundraiser, Largs Thistle's Scottish Cup winning celebrations in 1994, and much more.
