WEATHER UPDATE - SNOW
The Met Office have issued a warning of snow for the Ayrshire area which is valid to 11pm tonight (Thursday 28th April 2016).
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We would encourage everyone to take care when out and about and to look after vulnerable friends, family and neighbours in affected areas.
"The A77/M77 at Fenwick and the A760 Largs to Kilbirnie road are both affected by snow but remain open at this time. We will continue to monitor the conditions with our partner agencies.
