A musical event involving some top quality Scottish choirs headed to Largs on Sunday, and was a great success.
This Gala Concert featuring the Glasgow Phoenix Choir accompanied by the Oban Gaelic Choir was St Columba’s Heritage Centre premier concert for the year last Sunday afternoon. The concert was was packed and very well attended with both choirs appreciated by everyone. The Heritage Centre has a series of concerts lined up for the year and will be advertised in the Largs and Millport Weekly News so watch out for the next concert featuring the Clydeside singers in August followed by the Stone house Male Voice Choir in September and the west of Scotland Military Wives Choir in October concluding with the Stedfast Silver band and Largs Amateur Opera group in December, the popular end of year concert.
