Ayrshire track star Jemma Reekie is set to star at the 2020 Olympics this weekend.
The Beith athlete is attending her first Olympic Games and runs in the women's 800m.
The 23-year-old, who trains with Kilbarchan AAC, took part in her 800m heat early this morning, and sailed through safely.
Reekie will now race in tomorrow's semi-final from 12:50pm, with the final on Tuesday at 1:25pm if she should progress.
Races can be watched on the BBC's live coverage, on Eurosport, or on the Discovery+ streaming service.
