The first planning application has been submitted for a proposed pizza parlour in Largs.

The site in Gallowgate Street will take over the former Morris' Restaurant along the seafront.

The first planning application for Allegria-Ristorante Pizzeria includes outdoor seating and a number of changes inside the building.

The maximum capacity of the restaurant will be limited to 60, and modifications will be made to the existing bar area.

Permission has been sought to install a gas fired pizza oven in the kitchen.

Modifications will also be made to the female and male toilets, and a new unisex wheelchair accessible toilet will be installed.

Picnic bench type seating will be installed outside the building with space for up to 42 people.

The full planning application can be found on the North Ayrshire Council planning portal.
