A section of one of the bumpiest roads in Largs is to be resurfaced next week.
Taxis and delivery drivers have purposely avoided the street due to its condition - while residents have also complained due to the noise and vibrations when traffic passes by.
Brisbane Street will be closed from October 4-8, from 8am to 6pm, due to carriageway improvement works.
Diversion routes will be signposted.
