The MV Loch Shira is set to return to service on January 31 following completion of her dry docking schedule.
The main vessel on the Largs to Cumbrae route has been out of action for almost three months with an oil leak.
CalMac says that due to a lack of current dry dock capacity, repairs have been delayed and the vessel will remain off service until the end of January.
MV Catriona will continue to operate the route until the Loch Shira is back in service.
