A LARGS hairdressing salon has proved a cut above after winning a top national award.
The Boutique Hair Spa scooped the 'most loved salon' accolade at the recent Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards at The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow.
The business, which is based near the pier, is run by Grace Bowman, and she told the News that her staff were thrilled to win.
Grace said: "I am so excited that we won after a challenging couple of years and all the lockdowns.
"We have been so humbled by the support from our families, friends and our amazing clients, who all took the time to vote for us."
A spokesperson for The Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards said: "We would like to congratulate the Boutique Hair Spa team for their achievement and we hope that they will keep up their amazing work."
