It was party time in 1977 as the Westbourne had some Saturday Night Fever which was the smash hit movie of the year.
And showing off their moves were the partygoers at the Westbourne Hotel in Millport.
Staying on the Isle of Cumbrae, Millport seafront was awash with visitors for the arrival of the Borderline Players at Kames Bay.
Millport Tennis Club was also in action in the Garrison with a young Craig Jepson and a few other familiar local faces making a racquet!
Fairlie Bowling Club hosted their fete with the village correspondent Mary Currie pictured.
And the Brisbane Queen Barbara Marr was arriving in style at Barrfields Park as she went in horse and carriage.
St Columba's Parish Church also hosted its summer fete and showcased the fashions of the period. Groovy!
