Churches, castles and even an underground secret bunker are among the participants in the forthcoming Doors Open Day 2022 on September 10 and 11.

Skelmorlie's Secret Bunker comprises a museum and Royal Observer Corps underground monitoring post manned until 1991.
The primary function was to monitor and report on the effects of a nuclear attack as part of an extensive chain throughout the United Kingdom.
This is the only monitoring post fully restored in the West of Scotland for public access.
Pre-booking is essential due to restricted space. Tel: 07513 504 115 to reserve a place.
Clark Memorial Church is also throwing open its doors and boasts impressive early gothic style in red sandstone, with Austrian oak pannelling, and outstanding stained glass.
Largs Museum, Fairlie Parish Church and Portencross Castle are also participating in the open weekend.
A Doors Open Day spokesperson said: "This September, explore sites across Scotland with in-person and online activities. All Doors Open Days events and activities are free!
"Across the country doors will be opened wide, welcoming visitors to uncover hidden gems and experience familiar places through fresh eyes."
