An acclaimed new movie starring Colin Farrell is coming to Millport thanks to The Screen Machine.
'The Banshees of Inisherin' is a black-comedy set in the 1920s which takes a closer look at male friendship and how emotionally ill-equipped some are when one wants to ‘break up’.
On the island of Inisherin off the coast of Ireland, dairyman Pádraic (Farrell) is stunned when his supposed best friend Colm abruptly ends their friendship.
Please note the video clip below contains strong language.
Entering his later years, Colm is a thoughtful and refined lover of music who has simply grown tired of Pádraic’s inane and annoying behaviour, something that Pádraic can’t understand - and takes on major consequences for both.
The movie will be shown on November 24 at 8.30pm.
