A huge ship - measuring a quarter of a kilometre in length - has arrived on the River Clyde over recent days.
The new arrival is the MSC CAGLIARI IV - a container ship sailing under the flag of Liberia.
The 860 foot long vessel journeyed from Liverpool to Greenock over a period of four days earlier this week.
She has a maximum speed of 13.9 knots (16 mph) and is an imposing sight on the coastline on Sunday afternoon.
The MSC Cagliari IV's previous destinations over recent months include Le Harve in France, Wilhelmshaven in Germany, and Antwerp in Belgium.
