A trio of top stand-up comedy acts are coming to Largs for something new on a Saturday night in the town.

Sharp's Bar in Nelson Street is hosting the fun-filled event with laughter very much on the menu.

Tickets are £10 and the event takes place at 8pm on Saturday, April 15.

Sharps owner Nick Veitch told the News that the last comedy night at the venue, on the evening of Valentine's Day, proved highly entertaining and encouraged him to put on what he hopes will be a repeat performance this weekend.

The names of those who will appear are being kept under wraps for the moment but gig-goers are being encouraged to keep an eye on the venue's social media channels in the run-up to Saturday.

Nick said: "Come and join us this Saturday. Our comedy club returns with three new  comics. Get your ticket today before they are all gone."
