A special family get together took place on Cumbrae recently bringing together four generations of the Finlayson family.
With roots in Millport, the family reunion took place at the Field Studies Centre in Millport on Easter Sunday.
The special event saw all ages come together from as young as two to nearly 92.
It was a milestone occasion - and the first time in a long time that a lot of the family have been together due to Covid and living at opposite ends of the UK.
David Finlayson, the last of six brothers and sisters, who will turn 92 on his next birthday, stays in Millport, while his brothers Alastair, James and Bill, and sisters Margaret and Hannah, moved elsewhere, mostly to Scotland, England and Canada.
Both David and his wife Mildred have been keen bridge players on the island going back many years.
They were joined by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other family members - and a great day was had by all.
