It was celebraton time on board the CalMac Rothesay to Wemyss Bay ship as a beautiful baby was born on board this morning.
The tot was born on the 7.15am sailing from Rothesay.
CalMac confirmed the happy news and believe it is a first for the ferry company.
Captain Lee McDowell, who was the Master on board this morning, said: “We are delighted at the news of a very special delivery on board MV Argyle in Wemyss Bay this morning – a baby girl!
"Our warmest wishes and congratulations to the parents, and to our youngest ever passenger.”
CalMac confirmed no staff involvement was necessary for the safe arrival on board.
