A Scottish charity which provides assistance dogs for veterans is appealing to the public to come along and take part in its annual Armed Forces Day Dog Show in Ayrshire.
The event organised by BRAVEHOUND will take place at Riglaw, near Beith, on Saturday June 10 from midday until 4pm.
For £2 anyone can enter their dog in one of the judging categories which include most aerodynamic ears, best beard and best salute.
All the money raised will go straight to BRAVEHOUND, which provides assistance dogs to former service personnel suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and/or physical injuries as a result of their military service.
Although it doesn’t cost anything to come along, the event is ticketed to give BRAVEHOUND an idea of numbers.
Tickets are available here.
