It was a 'welly' good day out at the Largs Lifeboat station for a recent family fundraiser where it was first foot forward.
Crew, fundraisers and supporters all pulled on their wellington boots to join in with the Largs RNLI Toddle Waddle.
It was a fantastic turnout which started at the Fishworks, with the participants waddling along to the finish line at the lifeboat station.
Future crew members of all ages pulled on their wellies and found items of ‘Crew Kit’ to find the hidden message along the route.
RNLI yellow wellies and a lifejacket were among the items which were hidden along the prom.
The young supporters could then use the attached stampers to collect the letters of the hidden message.
RNLI’s very own Stormy Stan joined in with the fun and it was lovely to see so many flags waving and big smiles as everyone toddled along the route.
Those who successfully completed the toddle and solved the puzzle received a medal and some treats on arrival at the boathouse.
Thanks were offered to Ross and Tiffany, from the Fishworks and Beachcombers, who donated an icecream to everyone who took part in the event, which were very much enjoyed on such a lovely day.
Largs RNLI also offered its thanks to everyone who took part in the event and to its fundraising team, especially Zoe, who was in charge organising our Toddle Waddle.
