A THUG has confessed to threatening his former partner at a house in Largs after trying to kick his way into her home.

Kyle Skinner was 19 at the time of the offence, which took place at his victim's home in the town on February 5 of this year.

Here, Skinner kicked the front door of the home and uttered a threat before he entered the property.

The thug, now aged 20, then repeatedly shouted, swore and uttered derogatory remarks towards the victim.

Court papers state that his actions were likely to have caused the victim fear or alarm.

Skinner, now of Harbour Street, Ardrossan, pleaded guilty to the charge when he appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Friday, June 2.

He is due to return to court later this month to be sentenced and has been granted bail until then.
