Motorists travelling between Hunterston and Inverkip can expect to encounter roadworks this week at different sections of their journey on the A78.
There is to be a lane closure north of Hunterston on the A78 on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, from 8pm until 6am.
Between Largs and Skelmorlie, pavement surveys are being carred out by road agency Amey.
The location is near Knock Castle, southbound, by St Phillians-Rose Cottage.
Stop/Go signs will be in place while the works take place on Tuesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, portable traffic lights will be in action on the trunk road in north and south sections of Skelmorlie as road resurfacing takes place by Amey.
The works take place overnight from 8pm until 6am on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
