NHS Ayrshire and Arran assistant director of public health Lisa Davidson said: “Vaccination is our best protection against serious coronavirus illness, so I’d encourage everyone to take the vaccines they are offered.
"There are just a few days left before the offer of a first and second dose for people under 50 who are not at higher risk ends in Scotland, so if you are in this group and wish to be vaccinated please attend a drop-in clinic this week, where our vaccination teams will be delighted to welcome you.
“If you’d prefer to make an appointment you can do so either by using the national online booking portal https://vacs.nhs.scot/csp or by calling the helpline on 0800 030 8013 to arrange.
“After 30 June, the Ayrshire drop-in clinics will continue to operate for those eligible for Spring booster vaccine doses or who are in the high risk group for coronavirus who have not completed their primary course.”
