AN ANIMAL rescue centre is looking to find a loving home for “wonderful big lad” Travis.
The Underheugh Ark Rescue centre near Inverkip says attempts to find a 'forever home' for the lurcher has fallen through several times due to no fault of his own.
Staff at the centre have issued a fresh appeal to get 18-month-old Travis a home that will take good care of him.
A spokesperson said: “He is just a young lurcher that is amazing with people, well-mannered and has good basic training.
“He is dog friendly and we would prefer him to be an only dog. However we would chat to any potential home if they had a resident dog who we feel may be a good match.
“It’s sad to see such a young boy sitting in kennels still waiting. If you could help him, please contact us, and let’s get Travis a home.”
