A CELEBRATION of the history of the Clyde Steamers is now on show at the Museum of the Cumbraes in Millport.
The exhibition at the Garrison House is the perfect opportunity for those who remember the glory days of 'doon the watter' cruises to reminisce about the paddle steamers, gracious turbine-powered vessels and humble ferries of the past - and for those a little too young to remember those days to learn more about the Clyde's 'doon the watter' heyday.
A spokesperson for North Ayrshire Heritage said: "The collection was created by the late Mr Charles Glen, who dedicated a large part of his retirement to researching, drawing, painting and making models of the famous Clyde Steamers.
"The exhibition is open from 9-5 seven days a week and entry is free.
"We hope to see you there!"
The exhibition continues until the end of August.
