Two Ayrshire youngsters have been praised by local cops after helping to find a missing and vulnerable pensioner.
Josh Bennett and Lacey Robinson, both aged seven, found a 95-year-old male who was missing and suffering from dementia.
They contacted the man's family, who in turn informed Police Scotland with officers then returning him safe and well to his home address.
Sgt Douglas Clark from Ayrshire Police visited the two youngsters to pass on the thanks of the force for their efforts.
He said: "We are very proud of what Josh and Lacey have done. I know their family are also proud, as will be the pupils and staff of Beith Primary School.
"Well done, Josh and Lacey!"
