Police in Ayrshire have issued a public notice over the use of off-road vehicles on private land.
The official notices have been left in police stations across the area, with a warning over the alarm and distress they can cause the public.
They read: “Using any type of mechanically propelled vehicle within private ground without the land owner’s permission is against the law.
“Your actions could be causing alarm, distress and annoyance to the public. If found using vehicles on private land they could be seized from you.”
