In this week's delve into the archives, we head back to the summer days of the 1980s and '90s.
And there was more sizzle than drizzle as it was barbecue time at Fairlie Parish Church.
The picture includes Laura Hunter, Kaye Cameron, Jamie Telford, then Largs Academy biology teacher Sandy Cunningham, and Reverend Thorburn from Fairlie Parish Church in the happy pic.
A Rotary school presentation took place in Largs. Jim McGarvie, of Largs Rotary, was pictured with Rotary President Jim Lawrie, Elizabeth Burns, Head Teacher, with David Gillies, Marie McEwan and Claire Kavanagh, Lyn McMillan and Lesley Cunningham.
The Largs summer playscheme was another great memory for locals - and children were pictured in front of the youth club building including Hamish Lowry Martin, Nikki Gray, Heather Burke, Clare MaCahill and Catherine Brady, in the picture below.
Members of 1st Millport Girl Guide Company who competed for the WRI trophy featured in the Wee Paper in the 1990s. The photo was taken by well island photographer Walter Kerr, who worked for the paper for over 50 years!
And bowling was very much to the fore with a West Kilbride grouping winning the Open Triples at Fairlie Bowling Club.
