Spirits were high at a large independence march in Ayr, according to North Ayrshire and Arran MP Patricia Gibson.
The All Under One Banner march through the town centre last month was in support of an independent Scotland.
Alongside Mrs Gibson, fellow MPs Allan Dorans and Stewart Hosie were in attendance as well as representatives of North Ayrshire Women for Independence.
Following the march, the SNP MP believes independence is coming soon, claiming “the tide of history is on our side”.
She said: “Spirits were high and the appetite and determination for Scotland to be a normal, independent country is utterly undimmed.
“The people of Scotland will make their voice heard and we will build a better, fairer and more compassionate Scotland with the full powers of an independent country.
“The tide of history is on our side. It's coming.”
