Members of Cumbrae Coastguard Rescue Team refreshed their skills searching for lost and missing people recently.
The island-based team undertook training to refine one of their core skills to help those in trouble.
A spokesperson said: “This is a specialist capability provided by all teams within HM Coastguard to search for and where necessary rescue persons lost or missing in the coastal environment.”
