A Largs cafe owner was amazed to find a four footed customer of a different kind when a show horse for the Viking Festival came visiting.
The cafe is open to all dogs - but may now have to amend its welcoming sign after a horse popped by for a treat.
Claudio Nardini, co-owner of The Moorings, is pictured, feeding the show horse an ice cream, at the pierhead cafe today.
He said: "The Moorings is now horse friendly!
"It was the stunt horse for tomorrow's show.
"I have never served a horse ice cream before."
