Award-winning poet Kevin P. Gilday will top the bill at an informal spoken word night in Largs next month.
The event, in Sharps Bar in Nelson Street, will be held at 7pm for 7.30pm on Thursday, October 3, and will be hosted by Heather Meldrum.
Leading poet and performer Kevin is a BBC Writers Room Scottish Voice and a National Theatre of Scotland breakthrough writer.
As one of Scotland's most celebrated contemporary poets, he recently appeared in the Saltire Society's '40 Under 40' list of outstanding Scottish creative talent.
The evening will also feature sets by Allan Gaw, Polly Bee, Donna Matthew and our own largs poets George Whitestone and Jack Muir.
Open mic slots will also be available on the night. To book a slot, text 07748 152649 or take your chance on the night.
Everyone is welcome to perform or just to listen - and it is free entry.
