COMMUNITY groups in Largs and the surrounding areas have applied for funding from the council - but there is still time to apply.
We previously told that organisations in the area have been given extra time to apply for funding from the council - but there are only days left until the newly-extended deadline.

Councillor Alan Hill, cabinet member for communities and islands at North Ayrshire Council (NAC), said: “For the first time ever, we have an extra boost of funding from the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund so the total amount available is an incredible £198k.
“Across Locality, Youth and Shared Prosperity funding, there’s still a host of potential funding opportunities for everyone to benefit and the PB team will also be on hand to help promote the difference you are making in your community with our wider network, so it really is a win, win.
“So don’t miss out, if there’s something that you need help with, please get in touch as the application deadline closes at midnight on Sunday, September 17.”
Community groups can submit their applications now on the Shaping North Ayrshire website.
