A Largs hairdresser, who has been selected to represent Glasgow in the Miss Great Britain competition, has spoken of her amazement when she was picked out of the audience to appear on stage with pop star Peter Andre.
Aimee Gilmour, was starstruck to be picked out of the crowd by the Australian star during a recent fashion show event at Hamilton Race Course.
Aimee was at the event for her first fashion show, modelling “DeJa Elite Boutique” focusing on ladies day wear on the main stage.
Celebrity Peter Andre was the half time act at the August 5 event and he saw her sash and crown from the stage and invited her up to join him.
Aimee said: "Peter Andre picking me out from the crowd made my day I have to say - it was an amazing moment!"

Aimee is gearing up for the Miss Great Britain awards which are taking place later this month.
She is calling for public votes in the hope that her entry can be groundbreaking in a very special way.
Aimee, who now lives in Fairlie with husband Ewan, suffers from the skin condition Vitiligo.
It is caused by the lack of a pigment called melanin in the skin. Melanin is produced by skin cells called melanocytes, and it gives your skin its colour.
In vitiligo, there are not enough working melanocytes to produce enough melanin in your skin. This causes white patches to develop on her skin.
Aimee, who grew up in Irvine, spent time on Rothesay before coming to work as a hair stylist at Salon 17 in Boyd Street, Largs.
She said: "There is no real cure and it means you have to be very careful under the sun as it can spread and totally fluctuates.
"I feel that it is amazing to have been selected for the beauty pageant given I have a skin condition and I want to prove to younger girls that you can do what I do and there are no barriers.
And Aimee's 'Perfectly Imperfect' campaign has been boosted throughout the summer with a range of video interviews, podcasts, and national news coverage.
Aimee can also be heard on a podcast with Gary GlasGo talking all things Miss Great Britain
The Fairlie resident has even featured in the Harrogate Bridal week, modelling for Evita Beverley Hills.
Her modelling has continued for “The White Collection” new and first Scottish store opening on Bath street, Glasgow.
And she has certainly not forgotten her home village by appearing at the Fairlie Brownies girl empowerment self belief workshop.
Aimee's next modelling will be for “DeJa Elite Boutique” at Hamilton race course for the prom wear fashion show raising funds for Lilys Legacy.
And speaking to the News in a recent video interview for the Largs and Millport News website, which has already had over 30,000 views, Aimee said: "I feel like I am still on cloud 9!
"i am so excited - the national final is on October 20 - and I think all my colleagues from Salon 17 and my family will be coming along to support - and all my family and friends.
"I am so buzzing for it. It has been a really hectic few months getting prepared and I have so many things in the pipeline.
"I have Vitiligo, the model Winnie Harlo has the same skin condition, and I just want to represent anyone who has a skin condition, and I am pushing my campaign of 'Perfectly Imperfect' because I feel that a lot of beauty pageant have such high beauty standards, the ethos is impact over image and we embrace everybody's imperfections."
Aimee has now selected her dress for the Miss Great Britain finals from her sponsors Deja Elite Boutique, who she has thanked for making her journey 'extra special'. See video below.
The voting system is open till October 16, and you can vote for Aimee here: People Choice Awards - Pageant Planet
