Largs Academy have revealed their latest cinema offering to the local community after school pupils voted for their top choice.
The Largs Picture House team will put on a screening of The Lorax, which was voted most popular film choice in a survey of more than 100 P7 and S1 pupils at the Largs school campus.
The event takes place on Wednesday November 8 at 5.30pm and is open to all.
It will be a digital download with large screen and surround sound.
The Lorax is a 2012 American animated musical fantasy comedy film and stars the voices of Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Rob Riggle, Jenny Slate, and Betty White.
The original children's book written by Dr Seuss and published in 1971, chronicles the plight of the environment and the Lorax, the main character, who "speaks for the trees" and confronts the Once-ler, a business magnate who causes environmental destruction, and the new film expands upon this.
The film includes several new characters and debuted in the No. 1 spot at the box office on its original release.
