The Largs to Cumbrae ferry has limited its vehicle capacity on its services this afternoon.
We previously told that the service was suspended this morning (November 1) by CalMac due to strong winds.
After a successful attempted sailing at 10.15am, the service was able to continue.
Now CalMac have issued an update about vehicle capacity on afternoon sailings.
They stated: "Due to smaller vessel Loch Riddon operating while a technical issue is resolved with MV Loch Fyne, vehicle capacity will be reduced for the following sailings : Dep Largs 1245, 1315 Dep Cumbrae 1300, 1330. "
We reported yesterday that there was a new ferry on the Cumbrae to Largs, as Calmac replaced the MV Loch Shira with the MV Loch Fyne.
The vessel, which has been at James Watt Dock to enable remedial work to her ramps, swapped with the MV Loch Shira this morning in order to enable the normal roll-on and roll-off service to resume.
