CalMac have announced that Tuesday's early morning ferry service is suspended after a generator issue.
The issue means that there will be no early morning ferries until at least 9.15am as things currently stand.
A CalMac spokesperson said: "MV Loch Shira suffered an issue with the generator on Monday evening which requires further investigation. As a result, service is suspended on Tuesday morning.
"There will be a review at approx. 08:45 for the 09:15 sailing from Largs.
"Disrupting a sailing is a decision we do not take lightly because we know it will inconvenience our customers and the communities we serve.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
