The Largs to Cumbrae ferry service has resumed this morning after early morning sailings were cancelled due to a generator problem.
CalMac previously stated the issue was detected on the MV Loch Shira last night.
An update was provided just after 9am as the MV Loch Fyne was brought in and operated a shuttle service due to the volume of traffic. The MV Loch Shira has now been fixed and is back in service.
A CalMac spokesperson said: "MV Loch Shira will return to service at 11.45am, sailings will then operate as per timetable.
Last night, CalMac explained that the MV Loch Shira had suffered an issue with the generator on Monday evening, which required further investigation.
The ferry company apologised for any inconvenience caused.
