PUPILS at Largs Primary School have been getting crafty for their Christmas enterprise project - and are putting their preparations into action this weekend.
The P4 pupils are delighted to be hosting a stall at the Largs festive market, taking place in Gallowgate Square on Saturday, December 16 from 10am to 4pm.
They have been putting their creative talents to good use and have produced all manner of items, including baubles, wooden, glass and pottery tea light holders, bookmarks, candy cane mice, Christmas cards, hanging decorations, 2024 calendars, reindeer treats and other items.
Delighted teacher Cathy McGregor said: "I’ve managed to book a stall at Largs Market on Saturday which the pupils are very excited about.
"It will give them first hand experience of retail and really bring their enterprise topic come to life.
"The pupils have decided to buy toys for underprivileged children and I’ve been in touch with Tiffany from The Fish Works to let her know that we’re donating children’s presents for her collection.
"This also helps pupils to learn about business collaboration."
