An Ayrshire church is set to be transformed into a magical Narnia-style wonderland in the new year.
West Kilbride Parish Church will become a magical winter experience, inspired by the famous C.S. Lewis novels The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe' and 'The Silver Chair'.
The event is taking place from Thursday, January 18 until Saturday, January 20.
A church spokesperson said: "You may have read the Chronicles of Narnia books by C.S Lewis or watched the films. Now you can experience Narnia for yourselves at West Kilbride Parish Church.
"Set during the Second World War, four children are evacuated to a country house. Lucy, one of the children, discovers the world of Narnia through a wardrobe in a spare room.
"The Narnia experience is a walk-through interactive theatre experience for all the family, where you can experience a world where it is always winter but never Christmas.
"Groups will be guided through the story of good conquering evil.
"Meet some of the characters in the story including Mr Tumnus, the Beavers, the evil white witch, and maybe even Father Christmas."
Tickets are free but you need to book in advance via Eventbrite at https://bit.ly/narniawkpc
