- There has been a warning of rail disruption after an incident reported at Paisley Gilmour Street station this evening.
Please note the matter has now been resolved.
How it happened...
At 5.25pm, ScotRail posted a message to customers informing them of an incident at Paisley.
Services to Ayrshire and Inverclyde have been impacted.
Glasgow councillor Roza Salih responded: "Do you know when services will return? Many people at Glasgow Central station waiting to go home after work?"

ScotRail stated at 5.55pm that services were 'returning to normal but there may still be some delays while we work to get trains and crew back into position'.
The rail company assured customers that they are 'working to get everyone moving as quickly as possible'.
And at 8.50pm, ScotRail confirmed that all services had returned to normal.
