An afternoon tea event will take place in Largs later this month to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
The occasion, organised by the Largs RNLI fundraising branch, will also mark the 60th anniversary of lifeboats being introduced in the town.
The event will take place at the Clark Memorial Church Hall on Saturday, January 27, running from 2pm to 4pm.
There will be souvenir and craft stands, a bottle stall, a book stall and a tombola.
Entry costs £3 per person.
This is an important year for the RNLI locally and nationally as it has been saving lives for 200 years and counting.
The anniversary events aim to commemorate the organisation's history and celebrate today's lifesavers to attract new and regular supporters.
