A children's charity has been thanked for the kind donation of selection boxes to Largs Foodbank.
The foodbank, which operates in Largs Community Church (formerly Clark Memorial), operates on Thursdays from 11.30pm to 4.30pm.
Fairlie man Andrew Horne MBE, who is well known as a retired network support manager with Caledonian MacBrayne, represented the charity Variety Scotland as he handed over 100 selection boxes.
A Largs Foodbank spokesperson said: "The Largs Foodbank were delighted today to receive a donation of 100 selection boxes.
"Andrew Horne, from Variety Scotland, the children's charity, delivered these wonderful treats for children, which were donated by football supporters, specifically the Brookland Collectives (Union Bears).
"Thank you so much for thinking of us."
Founded in 1973, Variety Scotland has helped tens of thousands of children and young people over the last five decades.
